“It’s like I feel rejected. I feel alone. And I just try to commit suicide. Because I don’t know how to live my life. I’m hopeless. I’m really hopeless. But God really saved me, and gave me family, and gave me love and forgiveness, that I can live my life today.”
Her English was broken, but I didn’t want to edit the words this beautiful, young Asian woman shared with me, because what she spoke was too powerful.
Salvation. Love. Forgiveness. Life.
She approached me for prayer after a recent conference we held in her area — the first-ever conference of its kind in her country.
And her life was completely changed.
My husband, Gary, and I recently had several opportunities to minister in Southeast Asia, and the response was amazing.
In addition to helping transform lives like those of the young Asian woman who shared her story, more than 12,000 Christian leaders received ministry and leadership training so they could impact others in their villages and cities. And thousands of copies of my book, Better Than You Feel, and Gary’s book, Your Financial Revolution, were translated into the languages of the people and given away for FREE, along with other leadership and mentorship materials.
Now, a door has been opened for us to return to these two nations that are largely unreached to share the truths of the Gospel and the principles and promises of the Kingdom of God like never before.
Before I continue, I need to tell you that that these opportunities are very rare. So, while there’s so much I want to tell you, I have to be very cautious about what details I share.
What I can tell you is that, through this mission outreach, hundreds of thousands of people in Cambodia and another surrounding Southeast nation will be reached with the Word of God and the teaching and mentorship resources of our ministry.
Knowing that information, I trust you’ll begin to understand why I have to limit the details I share here.
One of the nations is a Communist State, and freedom of religion is very limited there. Christians there are being subjected to increased persecution. Just a few weeks ago, security forces arrested a group of believers who had gathered for a Bible study, and the foreign missionary leading the group was charged a hefty fine and expelled from the country.
Cambodia isn’t much different. Although there have been changes in the country since the 1970s, when an estimated two million Christians were murdered for their beliefs, Christians in Cambodia are still at risk of being beaten, detained, evicted from their land, and denied the basic right to practice their faith in this primarily-Buddhist nation.
With all that said, I’m sure you can understand why I can’t risk sharing too many details about the opportunities we have to further the Gospel in these two countries.
But I want to share as much detail with you as possible.
What I can tell you is that, together, we have an unbelievable opportunity through the mission arm of our ministry, Healing Hurting Hearts (H3), to equip and support the body of Christ in Southeast Asia and to share the Gospel, the principles, and the promises of the Kingdom of God with people who have never heard about Jesus or the Kingdom.
You’ve probably heard the saying, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.”
That’s how we look at missions and outreach — through H3, we give men, women, and children food, water, shelter, and clothing to “feed” them for a day, to satisfy their immediate needs, so that we can “teach them to fish” by sharing the Word of God, and how the Kingdom of God operates, so they can tap into the Kingdom and have provision for themselves.
Together, through H3, we’re making sure the hurt, lost, lonely, addicted, abused, sick, and broken don’t stay where they are.
I don’t usually write about missions or outreach. But I need to get this information to you.
With your help, we can move forward with the plans for phase one this mission outreach we’re calling “Operation Southeast Asia.”
Your gift will help minister to thousands FREE of charge, print and distribute thousands of translated books FREE of charge, and help provide ministry and mentorship materials FREE of charge to young leaders who can change their ENTIRE nations for God!
Are you sensing the potential impact Operation Southeast Asia holds for the Kingdom of God?!
The believers in these nations have been praying and sharing the Gospel, despite decades of persecution and attempts to suppress Christianity.
Now, you and I can be a part of blessing these people and transforming hundreds of thousands more lives!
I hope you will join me and be a part of the Operation Southeast Asia outreach.
It’s a tremendous challenge to reach people who have been living in spiritual darkness, suppressed by centuries of violent religious and political dictates that have forbidden the very mention of Jesus Christ. And it will cost several hundred thousand dollars to complete this mission outreach.
But together, we can do this.
